This project takes its lead from the accommodation schedule of 4 one-bed units and 4 two-bed units to assume a simple solution of 4 individual dwellings rather than one aggregated larger less neighbourly solution. This premise provides greater opportunity to achieve better individual identity, better private amenity space and a greater chance of integrating the new-build project into the street scene and ultimately the neighbourhood. The dwelling, or more accurately its section is derived from the popularity of the typical London Victorian terraced conversion flats. Thus we have a ground floor one bedroom flat with access to a rear garden, with a two storey flat above.
